Industry Templates

EHM Admin ▸ Industry Templates

Each template is a named bundle of starting defaults — the onboarding document packet, the operational task checklist, and the course set — copied into a new client's own configuration when EHM issues them.

Copied, not linked. A client already running keeps what they were given, and can edit it themselves. That is deliberate: a live link would mean an edit here silently changing what every existing client of that kind hands their new hires.

ConstructionField checklist

Field and jobsite work. The full California onboarding packet, with the IIPP, WVPP and heat-illness acknowledgments GATING — nobody starts work until they are signed — plus the field task checklist and an OSHA-oriented course set.

22 tasks

Editing this changes what the next client of this kind receives. The 3 clients already provisioned from it hold their own copy and are not affected — fix those on their own packet page.

Mandated safety acknowledgments

IIPP Acknowledgment of Receipt & Training

Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) Acknowledgment

Heat Illness Prevention Acknowledgment

The IIPP applies to every California employer, SB 553 to nearly all, and indoor heat can reach an office. Keep these in every industry — the honest difference between a field and an office template is whether they gate starting work, not whether they are present.

Auto-assigned courses land on every employee through one assignment rule. The rest are entitled to the client, who chooses who takes them.

A new template starts from the required statutory set — the I-9, W-4, wage-theft notice and the safety acknowledgments — so an industry preset cannot quietly omit them · Issue a client
