HR profile — your headcount derives every California and federal threshold below

Employee headcount

Pre-fill from the people on your roster, then override if it differs — seasonal staff, multiple entities and part-timers all change the honest figure. Leave blank for "not recorded".

At 14 employees:

2–19Cal-COBRA — California's continuation coverage for small employersOnly where a group health plan is offered. The carrier issues it, not you.
5+CA 5+ rules — harassment-training mandate (SB 1343), CFRA family leave, Fair Chance hiring, paid sick leave, SB 294The most consequential California threshold. Harassment training is 2 hours for supervisors and 1 for everyone else, within 6 months and every 2 years after.

This is your total employee count. Several rules count differently — full-time equivalents, a look-back over the prior year, or employees within a radius — so treat the list below as what to look into, not as a determination.

Highlighted thresholds change what a packet contains. The others are shown for awareness — pay-data reporting at 100+, for instance, is an annual filing you make, not a document any employee receives.
